Great Gaming Links

by Clayton on March 17, 2010

Here’s a good bunch of links for ya. Some of mine and my gaming buddies fave sites – most of which I’m sure a lot of you will already use;

Penny Arcade – a staple for most of us I’m sure.

Giant Bomb – little known games review site often showing the first half hour of gameplay for games (a must before shelling out 40 quid).

IGN – again a good review site.

Steam – never used to like or use steam but since ironing out the bugs its now a good stable program, look out for the great midweek deals! Some classic game bundles for under a tenner too.

Hot UK Deals – great for scanning for prices on hardware and software. Also great for that all important ‘end of the month’ game purchase.

Folding@Home – and if you’re not already folding, come on guys – it’s for a great cause.

Enjoy! try ‘em, you might like ‘em ;)

Folding Home is a great project that means that when I leave my Playstation 3 on, its doing something to help others. Shame the other consoles aren’t running something similar! Maybe its because of the lack of processing power in other consoles.

I agree, if everyone left their console on and did just a single project it would make a huge difference. Thanks for your feedback Andrew.
