You got Gears of War in my Battlefield Bad Company 2

by Rich on May 12, 2010

News in today states that the console versions of Battlefield Bad Company 2 are getting a ‘horde’ mode of their very own.  This new mode, called Onslaught, promises to provide a set of co-op challenges to a small group of players over some rejigged  multiplayer maps.  These maps have had features changed like time of day and extra vehicles added.

It took me a little while to get over the initial excitement of what this new mode offered.  After calming down and getting off my desk I stopped to reread the post and noticed that it only mentioned console versions of the game.  After a little more reading I noticed I wasn’t the only one that had picked up on this.  This mode seems to be a console exclusive.  This has not been stated through official channels but they state in the announced that it is for Xbox 360 and PS3.  Surely they would not neglect to mention the PC if it had been in development.

Terrence Sweetwater says "PC owners can suck it!"

Well, I’m happy for all you owners of the console version because this mode sounds like it’s going to be hotter than a rocket full of hot sauce headed straight for the Sun!

Maybe the PC version is still in development and they are still fine tuning it.  Yeah, that’ll help me sleep tonight.  That’ll do just fine.
