Splinter Cell: Conviction, Just how old is Sam Fisher?

by Clayton on April 20, 2010

Where is my pension book dammit!

Don’t get me wrong I’ve enjoyed most of the splinter cell games but how much longer can its main character, Sam Fisher, remain a top operative! Skimming the net his age is put between 44 and 55 with 1957 as his most used birth date this puts him at a ripe age of 53! Maybe he’ll have a rear stealth attack where you garrotte someone with a walking stick, maybe exploding false teeth that can be left at a baddies bedside? Hopefully amnesia won’t be incorporated into the mechanics of the game…

Whatever the armed forces are feeding him I sure could use some myself. All joking apart though Splinter Cell: Conviction has taken the top spot in the gaming charts, proving that this series is still going strong since the first Splinter Cell graced or homes in November of 2002. It’s a shame to see Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 slipping down the charts but there are FAR too many cheaters on there now and if the developers are doing nothing to stop that it will just fade into nothingness. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is still going strong which is good to see, the premium shooter at the minute in my eyes, wish I got more opportunity to play it!

Here’s the full rundown as of today;

1. (-) Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction (Ubisoft)

2. (1) Just Dance (Ubisoft)

3. (-) Grand Theft Auto Episodes – Tales From Liberty City (Rockstar)

4. (2) Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Electronic Arts)

5. (6) Wii Fit Plus (Nintendo)

6. (3) Just Cause 2 (Eidos)

7. (5) Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo)

8. (7) Pokemon Soulsilver (Nintendo)

9. (4) Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Activision)

10. (8) FIFA 10 (Electronic Arts)

Out you come buddy

I’ve always got time for this brand of stealth murder simulator. I heard that most of the adversarial multi-player modes have failed to make it over in this new version but the co-op missions are still in there, thankfully.
